All members, both Wednesday and Saturday, are eligible to play in the Member Guest and some special tournaments as well as Closing Cross Country Scramble. If a member joins only Wednesday or Saturday, they may only play in the regular tournaments on their membership day.
Club Championship: Any woman of golfing member status who has at 40 handicap or less is eligible to participate. Meadia Cup: An 18 hole handicapped match play tournament. Any 18 hole member is eligible to quality. Prizes are given by the club and the 18 hole group. Ringers, Chip-In, & Birdie Tournaments: Sponsored by the Wed & Sat groups throughout the year. Awards are given in each division at the end of the year for best ringer score, most chip-ins and most birdies.
A true handicap must be maintained with all scores from any rounds, which include at least 13 holes, adjusted and posted. Rules for adjustment are available from the pro shop and on the bulletin boards. Handicaps will change usually every two weeks in season and will be posted in the locker room. A sponsored tournament requires all players who have handicaps over 36 must play to 36. A, B, C and D groups for competition will be recalculated each handicap posting to reflect the current handicap distribution. Two players in each group just attest the scorecard. Scorecards without proper verification will be disqualified.
Cancelations are usually not made unless the course is closed which can be determine by calling the pro shop, checking email from the pro shop or viewing the web site for course conditions. It is stressed that those who must cancel their signed in play time must do so as soon as they are aware that they can not play by calling the pro shop.
All play is by USGA rules unless a local change is made by the golf committee. The ball is played down unless the greens keeper or pro shop observes winter rules or makes special exceptions.
